The ever growing demand for non-conventional therapies (acupuncture, phytotherapy, homeopathy) by all groups of the population and the need expressed by institutional organizations (both national and international) for appropriate and objective information and training of practitioners in this sector - now very poor - have encouraged us to go through the different issues involved in these disciplines.

Our action lines are therefore divided into different sectors:

  • Institutional (relations with the W.H.O., the Ministry of Public Health, Regional Authorities, the Parliament, the Medical Association).
  • Clinical research (relations with hospital and clinical centres).
  • Experimental.

This activity is documented by several publications and papers. The work by E. Minelli Le cinque vie dell'agopuntura (ed. Gemma Editco, Verona, 2000), E. Minelli, E. De Giacomo, C. Schiantarelli: Agopuntura clinica tradizionale e moderna deserves special mentioning.

Recently (october 2004) the Director of the Center Prof. Umberto Solimene has been elected President of the Italian Chinese Medical Association (founded in the 1973).

The Centre's Experts are prepared to answer all your questions by e-mail.

Other aims include providing the basics for a critical and rational use of non-conventional medicines, as a complement to classical medical therapy, whenever their need is clinically documented.
