 XXIII All-Russian Forum “Zdravnitsa-24”
International Scientific Congress and Exhibition of Achievements of the Sanatorium and Resort Industry
The XXIII All-Russian Forum “Zdravnitsa-24” was held in Yaroslavl (a city 230 km north of Moscow) on the shore of the Volga River from June 9 to June 13. This is the 23rd Forum held by the National Resort Association of Russia (NRA) since its founding in 1996, which is part of the World Federation of Climatotherapy and Hydrotherapy (FEMTEC).
This event was once again dedicated to solving current strategic issues in the field of balneology. Within the framework of the Forum, the International Scientific Congress and the Exhibition of Achievements of the Sanatorium and Resort Industry were held. More than 250 organizations and 6,000 people participated in the Forum and Exhibition.
The Congress program covered a wide range of healthcare issues and technologies, as well as methods of physiotherapy, balneology, physical therapy, medical and social rehabilitation aimed at restoring health and improving the quality of life. Particular attention was paid to issues of “health for a healthy” person. Within the framework of this problem, plenary sessions, expert sessions, master classes and symposiums were conducted.
Over all the years of the Health Resort Forum, FEMTEC has always taken an active part, presenting reports and exchanging international experience. In confirmation of this, it should be noted that at the beginning of the first plenary meeting, the President of the NRA, Professor, Academician Alexander N. Razumov suggested to those who were present to honor the memory of the recently deceased President of FEMTEC, Professor Umberto Solimene, and expressed the wish to continue further cooperation.
