INTRODUCTION TO THALASSOTHERAPY

Great succes of the Joint Course "Medical University of Monastir (Tunisia) and FEMTEC"

More than 25 medical doctors of different Tunisian medical and thalassotherapic centers attended to the Joint Course on Thalassotherapy, promoted and organized by the Medical Faculty of the University of Monastir, in collaboration with FEMTEC and with the support of the Departement of Thermalisme of the Health Ministry of Tunisia.

This Course, first in the world of Balneology, has been very appreciated for the high professionality of the Scientific Director Prof. Taufik Khalfallah and the Members of the Faculty:

From the FEMTEC side, the scientific contribution and the lessons presented by Prof. Fausto Bonsignori, Coordinator of the Femtec Commission for Thalassotherapy has been very appreciated. We hope that this first experience of training Course will be an example for other Countries. Tunisia is the most advanced Counrty where the thalassotherapy is very well organized from the scientific and legal point of view. This thanks also to the great work developed by the Office du Thermalisme, directed by Dr. Rzig Ouaslati.
