2nd Franco-Moroccan Conference on Thermalisme

October 17th, 2024, Nancy, France

The European Institute of Thermalisme ( IET :http://institut-europeen-thermalisme.eu) , the Ministry of Health and social Protection and the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Solidarity Economy, under the impetus of the Hassan II Fez University Hospital, ATLAGE Association, have set up a think tank, with a view to looking for ways to develop hydrotherapy in Morocco, within the framework of a holistic and inclusive vision of health, well-being, tourism promotion and sustainable development.

In the context of the development of research in the field of thermalisme and in the pursuit of multiple exchanges between the Moroccan and French teams, particularly on the question of thermal baths and the development of territories, the idea of co-organizing the First Franco-Moroccan Thermalism Conference was a starting point and an ideal opportunity to initiate the debate and reflection between the cultural and scientific experience of thermalisme in Morocco and the French experience in this field.

As a continuation of these first meetings, the Second Franco-Moroccan Thermalisme Conference will take place on October 17, 2024 in Nancy, France. The experience of the First Conference made it possible to bring together the scientific and steering committee already set up for the development of the following programme.
