 Balneotherapy in Nigeria
A new holistic and integrative vision on Balneology
Nasarawa State University Keffi, in Nigeria, associated member of the World Federation of Hydrotherapy and Climatotherapy (FEMTEC), establishes First Chair and International Center for Medical Geology Research, named after IMGA past President Dr. Jose A. Centeno, with the objective of providing a platform to offer scholars/researchers the opportunity to learn, collaborate and undertake research that guarantee a safer planet and a healthier population, linking hydro-geologic materials to health.
These study graduate programs include: Post Graduate Diploma, Masters Graduation, and PhD Graduation in Medical Geology with important eligible fields of study: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Geology / Environmental Geoscience, Geosciences, Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Sciences, Toxicology, Balneology / Balneotherapy. The courses will be delivered online for International Students and Faculty Members and onsite for local Students and Faculty Members.
It is the first time when in Nigeria the Balneology / Balneotherapy becomes subjects of study for Medical Geology together with Public Health, and Health Sciences.
