FEMTEC INVITE Looking forward to your active participation at the WORLD HEALTH SUMMIT!
The World Health Summit is the international strategic forum for global health, held annually in Berlin. The World Health Summit 2022 will take place on 16-18 October in Berlin, Germany and is the first Summit co-organized with WHO building on the 13 years' experience of the World Health Summit Foundation.
For its 14th edition, the World Health Summit will focus on ''Making the Choice for Health'' by reflecting on the most pressing topics, including Investment for Health and Well-Being; Climate Change and Planetary Health; Architecture for Pandemic Preparedness and Response; Digital Transformation for Health; Food Systems and Health; Health Systems Resilience and Equity; and Global Health for Peace.
The WHS 2022 will also create synergies and combine forces for global health development by engaging all relevant global health leaders and stakeholders from all sectors in all regions of the world, by strengthening exchange, stimulating innovative solutions to health challenges, fostering global health as a key political issue and promoting the global health debate in the spirit of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
WHS has always brought diverse stakeholders together and this year's co-organized Summit will extend this reach further with participants including heads of state, ministers from other sectors, heads of international agencies, parliamentarians, civil society leaders, youth organizations, and the private sector. The Summit will provide an ideal setting to foster new partnerships and broaden global health networks, while strengthening WHO's stakeholder engagement and exploring the second term priorities of the WHO Director General.
This years' new venue will allow for increased attendance in Berlin with around 5,000 participants, with all sessions also accessible virtually.
Registration for on-site participation is only possible with a registration code. Civil Society Organizations engaging with WHO are invited to register up to three delegates to participate on-site in the World Health Summit for free using the following link www.conference.worldhealthsummit.org/ and code WHS22_NP564. For a larger contingency, please write to HMP@who.int. Virtual observation of the entire World Health Summit programme will be possible on the World Health Summit website with no prior registration needed.
Additional information, including the programme, can be accessed at the event webpage: www.worldhealthsummit.org/
