III INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS - DECEMBER 14, 2020
The III International Congress "World Water Day", organized by FSBI "National Medical Research Center of Rehabilitation of Balneology", is dedicated to the mineral waters preservation, study and usage as such as the 90th anniversary of the FSBEI HE "MGUPP" and the 10th anniversary of the Medical Institute of Continuing Education of the FSBEI HE "MGUPP".
The date of the III International Congress "World Water Day" in December was not chosen by chance. On December 12-16, 1898, 122 years ago, the First All-Russian Congress of climatology, hydrology and balneology took place in St. Petersburg.
By Russian Balneological Society an idea had been proposed "to establish a Balneological Institute in the Caucasian Mineral Waters for a comprehensive study of the effect of our waters on a sick and healthy organism".
The main objectives are methods of conservation of water resources, including fresh water, and methods of applying balneotherapy in the sphere of healthcare.
