A new approach to the FEMTEC web presence
The Astana Congress gives us the opportunity to present the new FEMTEC portal, that replaces the old one. Its graphic template has a modern look, wide and bright, and is based on "elastic" web techniques, allowing automatic resizing according to the screen size. So its look will be the same both in a small smartphone and in a large PC screen.
Also the software platform is improved. The previous Joomla system was a nightmare for unskilled persons, while the new system is based on the concept that everybody must be able to edit it.
This new approach gives the opportunity to improve the effectiveness of our activities. We can add new sections to the core system, as soon as the associated national representatives will be interested in managing their section and publishing their articles. The logical approach is to have predefined page formats, where users can just upload their images and text files written with Word: the system will automatically resize the images and format the page content, without any external intervention.
In a second step we envisage that text images and videopromo of local thermae and SPA would be published by our partners for commercial purposes in order to raise funds for supporting our activities. |
