8th International Scientific Forum on physical and rehabilitation Medicine 30th anniversary of the Sanatorium White Nights with FEMTEC's participation St.Petersburg (RF) - April 19-20, 2018
Research, innovation, and development in the field of thermal, physical, and rehabilitation therapy, alongside their possible practical applications, were the main topics discussed at the Forum in St. Petersburg, attended by highly qualified specialists from 18 Countries.
The individual sessions of the meeting dealt with general topics addressed by, among others, U. Solimene (President of FEMTEC - Hydrotherapy strategies in the world), V. Baranov (Russian Academy of Sciences - Genomics), V. Anisimov (President of the Russian Society of Gerontology), G. Ponomarienko (Chair of Physiotherapy, University of St. Petersburg - New technologies for rehabilitation), as well as with proposed operational approaches in the individual clinical application sectors. The areas under discussion included traumatology, paediatrics, and gynaecology. The second day of the Forum was dedicated to anti-ageing issues and to the related approaches.
The Forum is part of the new strategies of the Insurance Company SOGAZ (a member of the GazProm Group), which developed, within its organization, an important medical department headed by Prof. V. Baranov (CEO of Sogaz-Medicine).
FEMTEC can play an important role in these new activities, which resulted into the creation and acquisition of important thermal and rehabilitation centres in Russia, in consideration of its international experience in the sector and of its accreditation with the World Health Organization.
At the important scientific event in St. Petersburg, organized with great efficiency by SOGAZ-Medicine, Prof. Umberto Solimene, President of FEMTEC, handed out the Federation’s certificates of merit to the parties in charge of the organization, including Prof. V. Baranov and G. Ponomarienko. Special acknowledgements were bestowed on Mr. Alexandr Boykov that, with his more than three decades of experience as a Top Medical Manager of the thermal and rehabilitation Centre White Nights and his constant, proactive participation in the activities of FEMTEC, is an outstanding representative of this sector. |
