Main topics of this initiative are public-private joint investments, quality of the environment, personnel training and qualification, thermal clusters.
More than 400 hundred participants, 94 thermal centers and medical companies, 70 scientific speeches on different topics of thermal medicine: these are the figures of the Zravnidza 17, the most important Russian exhibition on thermal medicine.
FEMTEC has been involved as a participant to the Program "Development Strategies of Russian Federation thermal centers for National Health".
In the opening ceremony, at the presence of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russian Federation) Rustem Khamitov, the Ministry of Health Annar Kamirov, the Chief of the Russian Tourism Agency (Rostourism) Oleg Safonov, the President of FEMTEC Umberto Solimene, the President of the Zravnidza 17, Prof. Alexandr Razumov, has read some messages sent by the Russian Parliament, the Russian Academy of Sciences and some Ministries.
Prof Razumov, one of the most representative Russian expert in the thermal medicine, in his introductory speech did a deep analysis of Russian Federation health situation, connected to ageing problems, chronic diseases, lifestyle, etc. He also spoke about the economic problems and some other critical situations for the population.
He said the the thermal centers world needs strategies in different ways. The Russian thermalism is one of most important in the world and has a long history, therefore it is important to develop and improve it.
Prof. Umberto Solimene confirmed the FEMTEC will to participate to these activities and to support official relations with WHO in order to improve the process of innovation. To this aim he proposed different types of collaboration: training, exhibitions, workshops, etc.
A number of specialists from many Russian Institutions as Higher School of Economics (prof. L. Popovich), Russian Academy of Sciences (Prof. M. Safonov), Medical Dept. of the President Russian Federation (N. Karchasina) discussed about different problems, regarding classification, cost/effectiveness, clinical aspects, training of personnel, etc.
ZRAVNIDZA 17 with his excellent organization, directed by M.Vilenskaya, once more has demonstrated to be the most important and concrete Russian event in the field of the thermalism.
