ALTA - Association of Latvian Travel Agents and Operators

ALTA is a professional public organization established by merger of travel agents and tour-operators in order to found, on the grounds of common business and equality and within the frame of law and their Statute, an amalgamated managerial institution to coordinate business activities of travel agents and tour-operators, protect their interests and represent Latvian travel business on the world`s scale.

The "Amber Coast" Sanatorium

The "Amber Coast" Sanatorium was built in 1972 to a design by the cap. architect S. Kleimenov.

The "Costa d'Ambra" Sanatorium is now experiencing its second birth: last year alone, over 5,000 vacationers from 15 countries of the world (Latvia, Russia, Germany, Israel, Austria, etc.) were subjected to spa treatments.

The range of medical services is constantly expanding, new rooms are being opened: rooms for massages, physiotherapy and others, a balneological department is reconstructed, effective methods for the treatment and prevention of diseases based on unique medical equipment and technologies.
